Inaugural 'Transport Managers Workshop' a Huge Success Senior Traffic Commissioner Beverley Bell Last week (20 March) CPT hosted a pilot Transport Managers Workshop at Manchester Collegefor members in its North Western region. The Workshop, which featured presentations from Senior Traffic Commissioner Beverley Bell and CPT’s Legal Partners Backhouse Jones Solicitors, detailed the changing role and duties of today’s Transport Managers. Delegates also heard from Manchester College as to opportunities for further management development training. With over 70 people in attendance, the event was arranged following recent changes to the ‘Access to the Profession Rules’ which have redefined the role of Transport Managers nominated on operator licences.
