Cancellation of various free shuttles due to poor patronage #tfnsw

Free taxpayer-funded shuttle buses that are carrying only a few people per trip will be discontinued so the funding can be invested in new bus and train services where they are desperately needed by local communities, Minister for Transport Gladys Berejiklian said today. Patronage figures compiled by Transport for NSW show that most of the 12 shuttles, which cost more than $7 million a year to operate, are running small loops with only a handful of passengers.
