Opal reaches all Sydney ferries as train rollout expands #tfnsw #sydneyferries #sydneytrains

Minister for Transport Gladys Berejiklian today said almost 20,000 Opal cards have now been ordered by customers, as electronic ticketing was made available today on all Sydney Ferries services, marking an historic milestone for public transport. From today, Opal is now at train stations from the CBD north to Chatswood, in addition to the City Circle and east to Bondi Junction. “The Opal card rollout continues today, and the NSW Government has delivered this important electronic ticketing project to all Sydney Ferries customers four months early,” Ms Berejiklian said. From today Opal is available on a further 20 ferry wharves including Parramatta, Meadowbank, Drummoyne, Greenwich and Milsons Point, giving customers from Western Sydney and the Inner West access to an Opal card for the first time. “The extension on the Sydney Trains network linking the City Circle to Chatswo...
