Good news; Nottingham’s Go 2 Uni bus no. 4 (City to Clifton campus) now has free Wi-Fi!

Nottingham’s university students will be able to Tweet, status update, check emails and even surf the net for those last-minute “Help! I’ve got a presentation next seminar!” panics, as Nottingham City Transport introduces free Wi-Fi on its Go2 Uni buses. From the start of the new academic year on 23 September, Go2 Uni buses 4, 31 and 34 will all be fitted with this technology, enabling passengers to connect to the internet using their smart phones or tablets free of charge – a first for Nottingham City Transport bus routes. “We aim to ensure that all our passengers enjoy the best possible journey when they travel on our buses, and we recognised that for students and university staff especially, being able to access the web for free whilst on the move was hugely important,” says NCT Marketing Manager, Anthony Carver-Smith. “We’re really pleased to be providing the free Wi-F...
