Yoshino Baigo is the name of a four-kilometer stretch of land running east-to-west on the south side of Tama-gawa River between JR Ome Line Hinatawada and Futamatao stations, serving as an entrance to Chichibu-Tama-Kai National Park. The area is dotted with tourist spots including the Yoshikawa Eiji House and Museum, and the Ome Kimono Museum. The most popular is Ome Ume-no-koen Park, which features a thousand trees of a hundred plum varieties and attracts a lively crowd to the slope of the mountain during the plum blossom season.
