AutoLoad enables a direct debit to be made automatically from a nominated bank account to your SmartRider card account when the balance on your card falls below the low-value threshold of $6 for standard users and $3 for concession users. When the value on your SmartRider goes below the low-value threshold amount, SmartRider will activate an automatic reload to your SmartRider card immediately crediting value to your card. SmartRider then makes a call on the nominated bank account for the funds to be transferred to your SmartRider account (allow 48 hours for the direct debit from the bank account to occur) . The AutoLoad amount that you nominate must be no less than $20 and no more than $250. Transperth recommends that the nominated AutoLoad amount should allow at least 10 days travel.
