Closure of Leeds Road at Thornbury | Bus alerts

UPDATE Details of diversions to bus services X6, X11, 72, 508 , 636 & 637 at Thornbury are at

Due to the emergency closure of Leeds Road at Thornbury, and diversions that are in place, bus services through the area are being delayed. Leeds-bound X6 , X11 , 72 & 508 buses are diverting via Leeds Old Road, Woodhall Road, Gain Lane and back to their normal route to Leeds. Bradford- bound buses are not affected. Services 636 & 637 are following the above diversion in both directions but not turning onto Gain Lane. From Bradford, buses are using Leeds Road as far as Mc Donalds then diverting via Old Road, Woodhall Road and Gain Lane to the junction of Leeds Road and then back onto normal route to Leeds.
