This year's festival was launched at our Annandale Street Depot. The Edinburgh International Magic Festival launched in spectacular fashion yesterday at our Central Depot, as Kevin McMahon, the festivals artistic director, pulled off one of the biggest illusions ever attempted in Scotland by transforming one of our single decker bus into butterflies. The audience and were then amazed to be covered in a snow storm of paper butterflies produced from his empty hands. Bill Devlin, Engineering Director said: We were delighted to be involved in the launch with Kevin and his team. The illusion was a fantastic way to launch the festival and our staffed were amazed. Kevin MacMahon said: It was a pleasure to work with the Lothian Buses team to create what is probably the first entertainment event in 90 years at Central Depot.
