Renderings of Detroit's M1 streetcar car barn unveiled

M-1 RAIL has released conceptual renderings of the facility that will house the Detroit streetcar's technology systems, vehicles and operations team. Construction of the nearly 19,000-square-foot Penske Tech Center is already underway and is expected to be completed by the end of 2015. The facility will be located between Bethune and Custer Avenues, at the northern end of the 3.3-mile streetcar system.
