Our ever popular Doors Open Day event is back on 22 September. What’s it like to sit here? What’s it like to go through this? What’s it like to travel on this? What’s it like to walk under this? Find out at our Depot Open Day (open as part of the Cockburn Association’s Doors Open Day) on Saturday 22 September between 11.45am and 4 pm at our Central Depot, 55 Annandale Street, Edinburgh, EH7 4AZ. Entrance is free. More highlights on the day include: Regular guided tours on an open top double decker bus Scottish Cup Parade Bus and Scottish Cup Trophy Toppled bus recovery demonstration by George McPhies at 2.30pm New and old buses on display Driving Simulators Playbus for children Prize giveaways Refreshments and toilets We also have 15 pairs of tickets to giveaway for a behind the scenes tour of our new state of the art control room.
