RAIL Due to flooding at Denby Dale buses replacing trains trains between Penistone & Stocksmoor

Stalybridge Station engineering works Between Saturday 27 October and Sunday 4 November if you are travelling between West Yorkshire, Manchester, Manchester Airport, Liverpool or the North West your train journey will change. For nine days First TransPennine Express and Northern Rail services will be unable to operate on the route through Stalybridge, between Huddersfield and Manchester, due to major engineering work. As a result there will be a revised timetable on both the North TransPennine and Calder Valley routes, with First TransPennine Express services diverted to avoid Stalybridge and buses will replace trains between some stations on these routes.
