[Dream Yosacoy Festival]Nov 4 - Nov 6 Tokyo Odaiba/Marunouchi/Akihabara
The Dream Yosacoy Festival, organized under the concept of connecting the world’s dreams in Tokyo, is the one of the largest and hightest-quality festivals in the metropolis, expecting some 6,000 dancers in 80 teams and 700,000 spectators. With the addition of Akihabara UDX as a new satellite venue, the event is evolving with the aim of being synonymous with Tokyo. The 15th edition presents cuisines from across the globe, starting with food and products from disaster-stricken regions. Featuring music performances on the eve of the festival, a Japan “Wa” Parade for the finale on the second day inviting through an open call participants dressed in traditional Japanese-style costume to take part in Japan’s version of Halloween celebrations, and a bon-odori dance open to all, the festival is packed with highlights that stimulate all five senses.
