Andrew Harris, who operated as Harris of Leicester, has been disqualified from holding an O-Licence for four years after he was convicted of theft by false accounting, from his former employer Confidence Bus and Coach Ltd. . He was disqualified indefinitely from acting as a Transport Manager for any operator. Mr Harris has appealed to the Upper Tribunal. The ruling comes after Mr Harris appeared at a Public Inquiry (PI) before Traffic Commissioner (TC) Richard Turfitt. Mr Harris was called to the PI after he was convicted by Leicester Crown Court.
