Julian Patterson, 41, has resigned as MD of Go-Ahead’s East Anglian bus businesses. In a statement, Go-Ahead says: “He has decided to move on after over four years with the Group, and having set up Konectbus as an independent company in 1999.” Mr Patterson, who was previously Operations & Commercial Director, became MD following the retirement of Konectbus MD Steve Challis, 64, in March 2013. Taking over from next month is Gavin Hunter, 35, currently a project manager at Go-Ahead rail franchise Southeastern. A former FirstGroup graduate trainee, he moved to Go-Ahead’s south Coast business in 2006 and later Metrobus where held a number of commercial and operational roles.
