Richard Shillingford has joined RATP Dev London as Engineering Director, bringing with him a wealth of experience

Richard Shillingford has joined RATP Dev London as Engineering Director, bringing with him a wealth of experience in the bus industry. His appointment took effect from November 3. Richard will take full responsibility for day-to-day engineering matters for both London United and London Sovereign, as well as work on a number of vital projects. Before joining RATP Dev London, Richard worked at Metroline Travel for three years where he was technical manager and then chief engineer. Richard Hall, RATP Dev London’s managing director, said: “I am delighted to welcome Richard to the company. This key appointment is the next step to us taking the business forward in our strategy of being ‘fit for the future’ and I am confident that Richard will deliver quantitative improvements in his role as well as contributing significantly to the strategic direction of the business.”
