James MacColl, Head of Campaigns, Campaign for Better Transport, said: "Thanks to free bus travel, many over 65s are able to get about when driving is not an option, but bus passes are useless if there are no buses on which to use them. This year alone £9 million worth of cuts to Local Authority funding for supported bus services have been proposed or agreed across the country, and this is being felt most by those who rely on buses the most, including over 65s and young people.
