Re: Northern Beaches BRT Pre-Feasibility Study Released by runawaybus » Fri Jul 20, 2012 5:29 pm Can I ask one question was Heavy Rail or Light Rail ever considered an option by the Liberal's or do they believe like they did in Adelaide that "buses are better" and in Adelaide a particular CEO of a transport agency used to say and tout many times that the Perth Suburban Rail System Upgrade/Electrification was a waste of taxpayers money and runs at a loss and you gussed it if anyone dared to tell this person that patronage soared with the electrification this same CEO claimed those figures are false. I wonder if that CEO is somehow working in the background of the current NSW Liberal Party!!!! Definition of Commuter Consultation or even Community Consultation: "We've made up our minds don't confuse us with the facts".
