Consideration of regulatory action against 12-vehicle national licence held by Daniel Warden, adjourned

Consideration of regulatory action against the 12-vehicle national licence held by Chesterfield-based Daniel Warden, trading as DW Coaches, has had to be adjourned. The DVSA had failed to undertake a requirement for up-to-date reports after a Vehicle Examiner (VE) and a Traffic Examiner (TE) who made initial reports had left the agency. Mr Warden, of Thanet Street, Clay Cross, Chesterfield, had been called before Deputy Traffic Commissioner (DTC) Miles Dorrington at a Golborne Public Inquiry (PI). At the outset, the DTC said that there had been a preliminary hearing before TC Beverley Bell in July 2015. The TC decided that the matter had to proceed to a PI, with both the original VE and TE to be available and that up to date reports needed to be prepared.
