@daniel_elsom861 Hello, I believe they are not valid for this journey

MetroSaver tickets are valid on Metro, the Shields Ferry* and Newcastle to Sunderland rail line**. A MetroSaver which includes zone A can also be used on Quaylink buses in the Quaylink Central Zone***. It’s available for one week, four weeks or a year and offers superb value if you’re a commuter or regular Metro user. It can be used at any time of the day for unlimited travel in the zones chosen. If you decide to buy a four week or annual MetroSaver you will need a Pop card. One week tickets are available to purchase from a ticket machine as a paper ticket or they can be uploaded to your Pop card.
